Leviathan – the magnum opus of the early-modern English political philosopher, Thomas Hobbes. Hobbes chose the name “Leviathan” to evoke an emblem of strength and power, symbolizing the commonwealth and in sovereign. In the old testament , Leviathan is depicted as a formidable sea serpent, an embodiment of the mightiest adversary in a ruthless world .

The Humanities Newsletter, Leviathan, is devited to untangling the most intriguing dilemmas of our time while nurturing a culture of critical though among the students. We inspire Atheans to embody the spirit of Leviathan-delving into a vast ocean that is a complex labyrinth of social, political  and psychological theories governing human behaviour and societal frameworks. Leviathan aspires to cultivate future political diplomats, the Athenas who grasp the significance of critical thinking. 

More than a mere Newsletter, Leviathan serves as a hypothetical alliance of the minds of the teachers in our social science Department, perpetually nurturing inter and intra – personal skills in our Athenas. It is the result of the constant brainstorming of the 12th grade.
